Why?
I used to use Facebook notes, but after writing for about 3 to 4 notes, I realised that those notes are only for Facebookers, not for non-facebookers. There are pro cons about facebook, I somewhat feel like deleting my facebook account same as I feel for my friendster account but I don’t do that because I concern of my friends who are still happy to be there.
I thought I would create yet another wordpress blog or blogdetik that’s powered by wordpress as well, but I still found that idea was not good enough, because I feel like writing kind of shorter versions of my main blog.
I found twitter enjoyable for a very short version. So I guess tumblr would be in the middle.
I hope I will always be happy with tumblr, it’s also as a support for ruby communities who built it, and I hope I won’t feel annoyed by rubbish like slayer’s bite chumps invitations, etc (like we’ve had on facebook).
Here, I’ll write many things I want to write randomly, not only about ruby, as I found myself often really wanted to write to my blog, but after realising that my idea was too random then I cancelled to publish my writing stuffs on my ruby blog.
